We’ll go through how to find the particular sub-account you want to tweak and the options you have – whether you want to hide the whole template library or just some specific modules like Funnels, Websites, or Emails. Let’s break it down step by step so you can shape each client’s experience just right.
How to Set Up
Step 01 – Get into Your Agency Admin Panel. Log in to your GoHighLevel account with your agency admin info. Find the “Agency View” or similar spot, usually in the top left corner or account settings.
Step 01 – Access the Main Left Hand Menu in GoHighLevel
The Main Menu on the Left side of your screen has all the main areas that you work in when using GHL
1.1 Switch to agency View

1.2 Access the ‘Template Library section of GoHighLevel

You’ll now be in the ‘Template Library’ section of GHL, where you can access the Funnels and Website template section from the top menu.
1.3 Click on the ‘Settings’ / or the Gear Icon on the menu link.

Step 02 – Start Sub-Account Customization. On the Template Library Settings page, you’ll see various options. Look for the setting about customizing visibility for sub-accounts. It should be pretty obvious, probably labeled “Customize for sub account” as noted in the update. Click on this option.
2.1 Click Customize Sub Account

2.2 Find the sub-account you want to set for visibility
2.3 Click the Edit Settings of the sub account you choose

2.4 Set the Visibility of the Template for that Subaccount
- If you want to hide the whole template library from users in this account, look for a toggle or checkbox that says “Hide library fully.” Turn this on.
- If you want the library visible but want to hide specific modules, keep the “Hide library fully” option off. You’ll see a list of templates like Funnel Templates, Website Templates, and Email Templates, each with its toggle. Just switch OFF the ones you don’t want users in this sub-account to see.

2.5 – Save Your Changes
Important Notes on Visibility
Keep in mind that these visibility settings you set up in the Agency Admin Panel only affect users logged into that specific sub-account (Location Users). If you’re logged in as an Agency User or Admin, you’ll always see the complete template library and all modules, no matter what settings you’ve made.
Also, remember that System Email templates are essential and will always be visible to sub-account users, no matter what visibility settings you have for other template types.
Before this update, your agents could log in, see all those extra templates, get confused, and waste time going through them. Not the easiest start, right?
To Sum Up
Now, with Template Library Visibility Control, you can go into each real estate agent’s sub-account settings from your Agency Admin Panel and just toggle OFF the visibility for Funnel Templates, Email Templates (except for system ones), and any other unrelated modules. When your real estate client logs in, BOOM! They see only the website and funnel templates you’ve set up for them. This cleans up their dashboard, clears confusion, and directs them straight to the tools you’ve provided, making their setup faster and boosting their confidence in using the platform you’ve given them. Happier clients, less support needed, quicker results – that’s what we’re all about!
