Entrance Animations Just Got Easier in GHL

Entrance Animations now work on full Sections, Rows, and Columns in the GoHighLevel Page Builder. Before this update, you had to animate page elements one at a time. Now you can control larger parts of the layout with less setup.

GHL has also added more animation styles, including fade, slide, bounce, flip, rotate, zoom, light speed, glow, and rocking effects. You can hover over each option to preview it before you choose it.

You can also adjust the duration, delay, scale, and easing for each block. GHL then handles the order from Section to Row to Column to content. Mobile animations are off by default, but you can turn them on for any block when needed.

Entrance Animations now take less time to set up and manage. GHL controls the order for you, so you do not need to work out each delay by hand. This makes page edits faster and helps keep the motion smooth.

The update also gives you more freedom when building pages. You can move, remove, or reorder blocks without breaking the full sequence. That is useful for agency owners, funnel builders, designers, and virtual assistants who update client pages often.

Entrance Animations are managed inside the GoHighLevel Page Builder. In this guide, you’ll learn how to open a website page, select a page block, choose an animation, adjust its settings, and publish your changes.

Here are the steps we will follow:

• Access your website in GHL.
• Open the page you want to edit.
• Open the Entrance Animation Settings.
• Choose an Entrance Animation.
• Adjust and Publish the Animation.

To start, make sure you are logged in to the correct GoHighLevel sub-account.

• The main menu on the left side of your screen includes the main areas you use in GoHighLevel.

1.1 Click Sites.

• This opens the main Sites section.

1.2 Click Websites in the top menu.

• The Websites page will open and show the websites in your sub-account.

1.3 Click the name of the website you want to edit.

• The website dashboard will open.

• The website dashboard shows the pages linked to the selected website.

2.1 Click Pages.

• The website pages will appear below.

2.2 Click Edit on the page you want to update.

• The selected page will open inside the GoHighLevel Page Builder.

• You can add an Entrance Animation after selecting the page block you want to update.

3.1 Click the Section, Row, Column, or page element you want to animate.

• The selected item will be outlined on the builder canvas, and its settings will open in the right sidebar.

3.2 Click Animations in the right sidebar.

• The available animation settings will appear.

3.3 Click Entrance Animation.

• The Entrance Animation library will open.

• The animation library includes different effects for how the selected item enters the page.

4.1 Review the available Entrance Animations.

• The options include Fade, Slide, Bounce, Flip, Rotate, Zoom, and other effects.

4.2 Hover over an animation card to preview the effect.

• The selected item will show the animation on the canvas before you apply it.

4.3 Click the animation you want to use.

• The chosen animation will be applied to the selected item.

4.4 Click Adjust Animation.

• The advanced controls for the selected effect will open.

• The Adjust Animation panel lets you control how the selected effect moves and how long it takes to play.

5.1 Adjust the Scale.

• Use the slider to control the starting size of the animation. The available range is 0.5 to 2 times.

5.2 Adjust the Duration.

• Choose how long the animation will take to complete. You can set the duration from 0.1 to 3 seconds.

5.3 Adjust the Delay.

• Choose how long GHL should wait before starting the animation. The delay can be set from 0 to 5 seconds.

5.4 Choose the Easing.

• Select one of the following options:
  • Linear
  • Ease In
  • Ease Out
  • Ease In Out
• The easing option controls how the animation speeds up or slows down while it plays.

5.5 Preview and publish the page.

• Click the eye icon to preview the page. Check the animation as you scroll, then click Publish when the timing and movement look right.

Once the page is published, Entrance Animations will play when the selected content scrolls into view. Keep the motion simple and test the page before publishing so the effect supports the content instead of distracting from it.

Entrance Animations should guide the eye, not steal the show. Use them on key areas such as the hero section, service rows, testimonials, and calls to action. Avoid adding motion to every block, or the page may feel busy.

Keep the timing short and natural. A duration between 0.4 and 0.8 seconds often works well. Use one or two animation styles across the page so the design feels clean and consistent.

Check the page on mobile before you publish. Mobile animations are off by default, so only turn them on when they improve the page and do not slow down buttons, forms, or text.
