GoHighLevel event management is now available to all agencies through Labs. Before this update, agencies had to contact HighLevel and provide a Location ID to get access. Now, agency admins can turn Events on themselves and choose which sub-accounts can use it.

Events cover the full event process in one place. You can create free, paid, RSVP, in-person, online, and hybrid events. You can also manage event details, schedules, speakers, registrations, branded event pages, ticket types, pricing, coupon codes, add-ons, QR-code tickets, and mobile check-in.

It also works with GHL Workflows, which makes follow-up much easier. You can trigger automations when someone registers or checks in, then send confirmations, reminders, and post-event messages based on what they do.

GoHighLevel event management can help agencies keep more of the event process in one system. Instead of moving people between separate tools for registration, tickets, check-in, and follow-up, you can manage more of that work inside GHL.

This can be useful for agencies, coaches, consultants, local businesses, and anyone running workshops, webinars, classes, or live events. Registration and check-in activity can also connect with GHL Workflows, so reminders and follow-up can happen based on what each attendee does.

GoHighLevel event management is enabled from the agency-level Labs area. From here, you can find the Events Beta, activate it, and choose which sub-accounts should have access.

Here are the steps we will follow:

• Open Agency Settings.
• Find Events in Labs.
• Enable Events for your sub-accounts.

To start, make sure you are logged in to the correct GoHighLevel agency account.

• The Events Beta is managed from the Settings area of your GoHighLevel agency account.

1.1 Go to the main Agency Dashboard.

• Make sure you are working from the agency view, not inside a sub-account.

1.2 Click Settings in the bottom-left corner.

• This opens the main Agency Settings area.
• From here, you can access Labs and other agency-level settings.

• The Labs area gives you access to Beta features that can be tested before a wider release.

2.1 Click Labs from the Settings menu.

• This opens the Labs Beta Program area.

2.2 Click the Sub-Account tab.

• This shows Labs features that can be enabled for your sub-accounts.

2.3 Type Events into the search box.

• This filters the list and makes the Events feature easier to find.

2.4 Click Activate Feature.

• This opens the Events access settings.
• From here, you can choose which sub-accounts should have Events enabled.

• The Events access window lets you control which sub-accounts can use the feature.

3.1 Review the list of sub-accounts.

• Each sub-account has its own Enable setting.
• You can turn Events on only for the accounts you want to use for testing or rollout.

3.2 Turn the Enable toggle on for each sub-account that should have access.

• Enabled means that sub-account can use Events.
• Disabled means Events will remain unavailable for that account.

3.3 Click Save.

• This applies to your Events access settings.
• The selected sub-accounts will now have access to the Events feature.

Once you save your settings, Events will be enabled for the sub-accounts you selected. Since the feature is still in Beta, it may be best to start with one or two accounts first, test the setup, and then expand access when you are ready.

GoHighLevel event management is still in Beta, so it is smart to start small. Enable Events for one or two sub-accounts first. This gives your team time to learn the setup, test the flow, and spot any issues before using it with more clients.

Run a full test event before going live. Create a registration, issue a ticket, test the QR check-in, and make sure any connected workflows fire at the right time. Using a real test contact can help you see exactly what an attendee will receive before, during, and after the event.

It is also worth checking access settings before you expand the rollout. Make sure only the sub-accounts that need Events have it enabled. Once your process is working well, you can turn it on for more accounts with a lot more confidence.
