Meet GoHighLevel’s New Built-In Domain Warmup Tool
When you’re diving into email marketing, your sending reputation is key. If you start blasting emails from a brand-new or low-volume domain, you risk landing right in spam folders or even getting blocked. The trick to steer clear of that? Gradually warming up your domain.
With GoHighLevel’s shiny new Fixed-Stage Domain Warmup feature, it’s super easy. Right now, it’s in Labs (Beta), and this built-in tool helps you start sending emails safely, keeping your deliverability intact and building trust with email providers like Gmail and Outlook. Whether you’re bringing on new clients or launching a new domain, you can automate this crucial step right from your dashboard. It’s smart, scalable, and works for agencies and sub-accounts using LeadConnector Email.

Ready to protect your sender score and kick off strong with your domains? Let’s dive into what’s new, how it works, and why it’s a big deal.
What’s New
- Auto-Warmup for New Domains: Your warmup kicks off automatically once you create and verify a domain.
- Manual Warmup for Existing Domains: You can start warming up domains you’re already using with just a few clicks.
- Smart Stage Recommendations: The system checks your past sending habits and Google Postmaster data to suggest the best starting stage for you.
- Fixed Daily Sending Limits: Each stage has its own email cap to make sure you’re ramping up safely and gradually.
- Works for Agencies & Sub-Accounts: This feature is compatible across all LeadConnector email sending domains.
Automate marketing, manage leads, and grow faster with GoHighLevel.

How It Works
The new warmup system follows a fixed-stage model giving you a steady way to scale your email sending:
- Each warmup stage has a daily sending limit.
- You’ll move to the next stage only after hitting the cap for that day.
- No hourly limits are in place, so you can spread out your sends throughout the day.
- The system pauses sending when you hit the limit and will automatically start back up the next day.
- To keep warming up, emails must be sent from the warming domain.
Important: Right now, if you go over the cap, it won’t block your sends—though future updates will enforce these limits to keep your domain healthy.
How to Enable Domain Warmup
Step 01 – Access the Settings in GoHighLevel
- Go to the left-hand sidebar, look all the way to the bottom.
1.1 Click on the gear icon ⚙️ labeled “Settings.”
- You’ll now be in the main Settings dashboard, where you can access:
- Business Info
- Billing
- My Staff
- and more.

Step 02 – Accessing Domains
2.1 Click “Email Services” on the Section Menu
2.2 Click Dedicated Domain

- For New Domains
- Warmup is turned on automatically after you create and verify your domain. No setup needed.

- For Existing Domains
- You’ll need to manually activate the feature.

Once you enable it, the system will look at your domain’s sending history and Google Postmaster data to suggest the best starting stage.
Why This Matters
Sending a ton of emails from a new domain is like barging into a party and yelling. Inbox providers like Gmail and Outlook are watching, and if they notice huge spikes in volume, they’ll likely flag your domain as spam.
Warming up your domain:
- Builds trust with inbox providers.
- Improves deliverability and inbox placement.
- Reduces spam risk.
- Ensures long-term email success.
If you’re running campaigns for clients or new brands, warming up isn’t optional—it’s a must. With GoHighLevel’s new built-in system, it’s a breeze.
Conclusion
The Fixed-Stage Domain Warmup is an easy, effective way to protect your sender reputation and enhance your email performance. Whether you’re starting fresh or juggling several clients, this feature ensures every email domain has a healthy path to delivery.
