Control Marketplace App Access in GHL

Marketplace App Access now gives agencies a simpler way to control what sub-accounts can use. The old auto-approve setting for new apps is gone. In its place, agencies can either allow all Marketplace apps or limit access to approved apps only.

The new “Show only approved apps to sub-accounts” toggle makes that choice clear. When it is off, all Marketplace apps are available. When it is on, sub-accounts can only access apps your agency has approved.

GoHighLevel has also made the review process easier. You can now see app approval status in one place, approve or disapprove apps from the list, and use search and filters to find what you need faster. For agencies managing many client accounts, Marketplace App Access is now much easier to review and control.

Here are the steps we will follow:

• Open Marketplace Settings.
• Manage Marketplace App Access.

To start, make sure you are logged in to the correct GoHighLevel agency account.

• The App Marketplace is available from the main menu in your GoHighLevel agency account.

1.1 Click App Marketplace.

• This opens the Marketplace Apps area.
• You will see the available apps and Marketplace options.

1.2 Click Settings in the top-right corner.

• This opens the Marketplace Settings area.
• From here, you can manage Marketplace visibility, app access, and usage limits.

• The Manage App Access area gives your agency control over which Marketplace apps sub-accounts can use.

2.1 Click Manage App Access.

• This opens the app approval settings.
• You will see the current app list and each app’s approval status.

2.2 Find the Show only approved apps to toggle sub-accounts.

• Leave this setting off if you want all Marketplace apps available to sub-accounts.
• Turn it on if you only want approved apps to be available.

2.3 Review the current app approval status.

• Each app shows whether it is Approved or Disapproved.
• This makes it easier to see which apps your sub-accounts can access.

2.4 Click Approve beside any app you want to allow.

• Approved apps will remain available when the approved-only setting is enabled.

2.5 Click Disapprove beside any app you do not want sub-accounts to access.

• Disapproved apps will not be available when the restriction setting is enabled.

2.6 Use Search Apps to find a specific app.

• Enter the app name to narrow the list.

2.7 Click Filter to narrow the results further.

• Filters can help you review apps faster when you have a long Marketplace list.

2.8 Review your approved apps before you finish.

• GoHighLevel recommends cleaning up your existing approval list before using the new restriction setting.
• This helps make sure only the apps you actually want are available to your sub-accounts.

Once your approvals are set, Marketplace App Access is much easier to manage. You can keep the Marketplace fully open or limit sub-accounts to only the apps your agency has reviewed and approved.
